Patient Care CoordinatorLocation: 400 WESTWOOD SHOPPING Ctr STE 210 Allmed Benefits: Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance, Health Insurance and 401(k) Pay Rate: $12/hr (Paid Weekly) Work Hours: Monday - Friday business hours Contract to Hire: 6 MonthsPosition SummaryThe Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for managing front desk operations and delivering an exceptional patient experience. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors and supports daily administrative functions, including registration, scheduling, and customer service. The Patient Care Coordinator ensures efficient workflow, maintains patient confidentiality, and promotes a positive, professional environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesManage front desk operations, including greeting, check-in, and check-out of patients and visitorsAssist patients with registration, appointment scheduling, and general inquiriesUpdate and maintain accurate patient information within the practice management systemProcess payments and address patient questions or concerns in a professional mannerHandle patient complaints and assist with issue resolution to ensure patient satisfactionBuild and maintain strong relationships with referral sourcesOrganize and manage workflow by routing correspondence, collecting patient information, and managing assignmentsDeliver courteous, respectful, and professional communication via phone, email, and patient portalsMaintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA policies and regulationsDe-escalate dissatisfied patients and provide appropriate assistance and supportSecure and document information according to established procedures and systemsMaintain accurate filing and retrieval of historical recordsCollaborate with team members and contribute to overall team successProvide consistently high-quality customer serviceRemain flexible to meet the needs of the position and the teamInteract professionally and positively across multiple departmentsWork effectively both independently and within a team environmentQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious experience in a front desk, patient services, medical office, or customer service role preferred
