In this role, you'll work closely with carrier partners, logistics leaders, and cross-functional teams to support day-to-day transportation activities, maintain critical operational data, coordinate projects, and help ensure exceptional service across our third-party carrier network.If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, building relationships, and keeping operations running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.Why Join World Fuel?Gain hands-on experience in transportation and logistics operations.Work directly with carrier partners and industry professionals.Learn the fuel transportation and supply chain business from the ground up.Be part of a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.Grow your career within a global leader in fuel, energy, and logistics solutions.Contribute to projects and initiatives that directly impact operational performance.What You'll DoSupport Logistics OperationsAssist the Logistics Operations team with daily transportation and carrier-related activities.Respond to operational requests and support day-to-day logistics needs.Partner with internal departments to help resolve issues and support business objectives.Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.Manage Operational Data & ComplianceMaintain and update critical logistics databases and repositories.Support audits and reviews of carrier documentation, agreements, and compliance records.Ensure transportation, terminal, and carrier information remains accurate and up to date.Help maintain operational records and reporting systems.Coordinate Workflows & ApprovalsManage workflow requests and approval processes across multiple business functions.Support transportation and carrier vetting activities.Ensure tasks and approvals are completed accurately and on time.Monitor workflow progress and help resolve process bottlenecks.Monitor Carrier PerformanceAssist with tracking and reporting carrier performance metrics.Support the development and distribution of operational reports.Monitor service levels across the carrier network.Identify trends and opportunities to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.Support Reporting & AnalysisCollect, organize, and analyze operational data.Assist with KPI reporting and business performance tracking.Support logistics leaders with reporting, audits, and special projects.Help translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, operations, or a related field.Experience supporting logistics operations, carrier management, transportation coordination, billing, or operational support activities.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Preferred QualificationsExperience in transportation, fuel, logistics, supply chain, or distribution industries.Familiarity with carrier management, transportation operations, or freight coordination.Experience working with business systems, databases, workflow platforms, or logistics software.Knowledge of fuel transportation, shipping, or loading operations.What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?You are:Highly organized and detail-oriented.Comfortable working with data, reports, and operational processes.A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with internal teams and external partners.Curious and eager to learn the transportation and logistics business.A collaborative team player who enjoys helping others succeed.Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.Proactive in identifying issues and finding solutions.About World FuelOur business keeps industries moving, and our logistics team plays a critical role in delivering operational excellence every day.
