Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shift (Days & Nights) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to other units serving the same patient population
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as part of ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage, working at least every other holiday
• Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate, achieving an acceptable score within the allowed attempts
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including annual hands-on competency and pre-start modules

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry (combined experience accepted; preferred within one location)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months, is required — co-worker references will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience within a single location for the required specialty tenure
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation
• Prior travel nursing experience within a large academic or health system environment
