Job Description

Shipping & Receiving Associate

Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for receiving materials, verifying orders, stocking inventory, preparing shipments, and ensuring products are accurately packaged and shipped. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
Prepare and ship orders using UPS, FedEx, and other carriers.
Pick, pack, and verify products against customer orders.
Stock inventory and replenish warehouse shelves with overstock materials.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
Assist with inventory counts and material movement throughout the warehouse.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.

Qualifications

Previous shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping systems required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
Basic computer and inventory system experience is a plus.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Work Environment

Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
Steel-toe boots and required PPE must be worn.
Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and standing throughout the shift.
