Beefbar is seeking a polished and welcoming Host to serve as the first point of contact for our guests. This role is essential in creating a memorable first impression and delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in an upscale NYC restaurant environment

Warm, professional, and engaging personality

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced setting

Excellent communication and guest-service skills

Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression of Beefbar
Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently
Escort guests to their tables and present menus
Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow
Manage waiting lists during peak hours
Answer phone calls professionally and handle inquiries
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Assist with special events and large party arrangements
Job Qualifications Previous experience as a host in a fine dining establishment preferred
Availability: Open availability with scheduling flexibility
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in reservation management systems SevenRooms OpenTable & Resy
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Capable of light lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
