Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a professional Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing team in Simpsonville, SC . This is a full time, permanent/direct hire role with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant AR experience and strong Excel skills. Responsibilities Manage and maintain customer account records, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date Review account activity and payment history to identify credit concerns and collection priorities Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding invoices, short payments, deductions, and returns Communicate professionally with customers to resolve payment issues and establish payment arrangements Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, account disputes, and customer inquiries in a timely manner Analyze credit data and assist with managing customer credit limits and account risk Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other internal teams to support accurate invoicing and timely collections Release and review orders in accordance with established credit and payment policies Prepare and maintain reports related to accounts receivable activity, collection efforts, and customer payment trends Support month-end and year-end closing activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial procedures Qualifications Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, credit, or a related accounting function Positive team player attitude $25-$30 hourly Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan Paid parental leave, including maternity and paternity benefits Tuition assistance and professional development opportunities Paid time off and company-recognized holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
