Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Social Media Evaluator, also known as a Search Engine Evaluator. This role focuses on reviewing and rating search results, ads, and social media content to help improve the relevance and quality of online experiences.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is an active social media user, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in data rating, search quality, or digital content evaluation.
The Social Media Evaluator will complete rating tasks, follow detailed guidelines, and provide feedback that helps train and improve search and recommendation systems.
This role is ideal for candidates interested in search engine evaluation, social media evaluation, data annotation, or online content quality.
Responsibilities
- Review and rate search results, ads, and social media content
- Follow detailed rating guidelines and quality standards
- Evaluate the relevance, accuracy, and quality of online content
- Provide feedback that helps improve search and recommendation systems
- Complete rating tasks accurately and on schedule
- Identify spam, low-quality, and misleading content
- Stay current on social media trends and popular culture
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across large volumes of tasks
- Document evaluations clearly and thoroughly
- Meet productivity and quality targets
- Protect confidential project information
- Perform additional evaluation tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in evaluation, research, data entry, or related roles
- Active daily user of social media platforms
- Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed guidelines independently
- Familiarity with search engines and current online trends
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
