With rapid growth across multiple states and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for the families they serve, the organization is investing in building out a stronger, more strategic HR function to match its scale.

Position Summary

The HR Business Partner – Employee Relations will serve as a trusted advisor to clinical and operational leaders across a multi-site, multi-state organization. This role owns a high volume of day-to-day employee relations matters, manager coaching, conduct and performance guidance, and unemployment claims, with occasional formal investigations as needed. The role also supports compliance and broader engagement and retention initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a trusted HR advisor to clinical and operational leaders across multiple locations
• Provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to managers on employee conduct and performance issues
• Manage a high-volume employee relations caseload; lead occasional workplace investigations as needed
• Own unemployment claims response, particularly in New Jersey
• Partner with HR leadership on compliance, engagement, and retention initiatives
• Support a high-volume, recurring hiring cadence tied to organizational growth

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree required; SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent certification preferred
• 5+ years of HR experience with a strong Employee Relations focus
• Healthcare industry background (specialty-specific experience not required)
• Experience within a mid-to-large organization of 500+ employees
• Multi-state HR experience
• Strong communication and coaching skills; comfortable navigating sensitive, individualized employee situations

Additional Details

• Fully remote; must reside in an approved state (AZ, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MO, NC, NJ, OH, PA, TX, or VA)
• Travel to company headquarters required within the first 90 days, then approximately 2x per year
• Core hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST
• Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 base salary
