Millwright I

Audubon is currently seeking a Millwright I to join our team in our Off Site Office. The Millwright I perform skilled maintenance, diagnoses, and repairs on industrial machinery and heavy equipment while being in construction sites or live facilities. Primary Responsibilities Will dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools. Will plan, inspect, verify and document scope of work. Operates engineer lathes, grinders and files. Works with industry-specific and high complex precision machines including but not limited to ball mills, ID fans, lube coil skids, turbines, conveyors, generators, hydraulic systems, pumps, gears, bearings, compressors etc. Uses precision leveling and alignment tools in order to measure angles, material thickness and small distances with calipers, squares, micrometers, optical instruments and other tools. Will fit bearings, align gears and wheels, attach motors and connect belts according to manufacturer’s blueprints and drawings. Fabricates and installs parts, equipment and machinery by measuring, cutting, drilling and/or welding. Five years' experience in the construction industry. Must be able to pass client specific safety training. Demonstrated industrial construction/maintenance history experience. Must be able to obtain site and Safety training certifications required for the project. Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and HSE guidelines. Understand load properties of cables, ropes, hoists and chains Excellent organizational skills. Ability to communicate and report effectively. Aptitude in math and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently when required. Ability to motivate, lead, teach and train on proper work and safety procedures. Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgment, and solve problems. Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing. Individuals must have a valid driver's license and driving record that meets Company requirements.
