Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Grass Valley, CA Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities The provider will manage all aspects of OB/GYN care within a hospital environment. Responsibilities include managing patient volumes of 25 to 40 deliveries per month, performing C-sections, and providing Emergency Department call coverage for OB/GYN-related issues. You will be supported by a robust multidisciplinary team including on-call Anesthesiologists, General Surgeons, local OB/GYNs, Pediatricians, and skilled Respiratory Therapists. The facility utilizes Cerner for electronic medical records. Qualifications & Credentialing To ensure the highest standard of patient safety and care, the following requirements must be met: Board Certification: Board Certified by the ABOG or AOBOG, or Board Eligible within five years of residency. Licensure: Active California Medical License is required. Documentation: A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation is mandatory. Experience: Demonstration of at least 100 gynecological surgical procedures performed in the past two years, or recent completion of an accredited residency/fellowship. Certifications: Active DEA is required during the credentialing process. Clinical History: A clean malpractice history is preferred. Additional Requirements: Applicants must provide a comprehensive listing of operative and invasive procedures from the last 24 months. Proctoring is required for new appointees, including concurrent observation of deliveries and GYN cases per department guidelines. What We Offer We provide a competitive compensation structure for this assignment. Malpractice insurance must be included in the provided rates. On-Call (Daily): $3,500 - $3,750 per 24 hours (includes 4 hours gratis). 24-Hour Holiday Call Rate: $5,250 - $5,625 per 24 hours (includes 4 hours gratis). Call Back Rate: $400 - $450 per hour of patient contact after gratis hours. Holiday Call Back Rate: $600 - $675 per hour of patient contact after gratis hours. Orientation: $200 - $225 per hour for training beyond the initial 8 hours. The average worked callback hours are approximately 5.49 hours on weekdays and 5.01 hours on weekends.
