Software Development Team Lead

Salary: $98,241 - 150,000 per year Requirements:

• We need a strong background in software development and programming, with experience delivering production-grade systems.
• We are looking for proficiency in object-oriented programming principles and design patterns for building maintainable, scalable solutions.
• We require hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, including APIs and front-end integrations.
• We value demonstrated team leadership experience, including mentoring engineers, coordinating delivery, and working across functions.
• We expect familiarity with modern development practices such as version control, code review, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience with cloud environments and relational or NoSQL databases such as AWS, Azure, GCP, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving ability, clear communication, and comfort working in a hybrid, collaborative environment are important.
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Prior experience in healthcare or health tech is a plus.

• We lead a small engineering team in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that support our home health care platform.
• We translate product requirements into technical designs and implement high-quality, testable code.
• We perform code reviews and help ensure adherence to software development and object-oriented programming best practices.
• We coordinate with product management, QA, and operations to prioritize features, resolve defects, and improve performance, security, and scalability.
• We mentor team members and support agile ceremonies.
• We contribute to ongoing improvements in development processes, tooling, and documentation.
