Occupational Therapist (OT)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative spirit and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering excellent patient-centered therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Implement treatment interventions to promote optimal patient function and independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic software.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other departments to enhance patient care.

Schedule

This position requires a full-time commitment with a day shift schedule of 5x8 hours, primarily from 07:00 to 15:00. Weekend rotation is required, with one weekend per month and compensatory days surrounding it.

Patient Ratios

The expected patient-to-therapist ratio is 8-9:1, ensuring that each patient receives focused attention and care.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy license in Washington state.
• Acute care experience is mandatory; inpatient rehabilitation experience is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to providing high-quality therapy services.
