Your responsibilities include: Diagnosing and repairing diesel and hydraulic systems Performing inspections, adjustments, and part replacements Machine setup, operator training, and warranty guidance Scheduling daily service with your supervisor Completing accurate reporting for billing Maintaining a clean, professional service truck Troubleshooting complex issues and mentoring junior techs (for experienced hires) 3+ years diesel/hydraulic experience (or equivalent schooling) Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Valid driver’s license with clean driving record DOT certifiable (must be 21+) Able to pass the tacker welding test Willing to travel with occasional overnight stays SSI offers ongoing training schools and skill‑building programs to help you grow your technical expertise and advance your career.
