Human Resources SpecialistAmarr, a part of ASSA ABLOY – the global leader in opening solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Human Resources Specialist to join our team at our corporate office in Winston Salem, NC. In this role, you will provide critical administrative and operational support across a wide range of HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and benefits administration. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with systems and data, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to employees and leadership.Key Responsibilities:Support full-cycle recruiting efforts, including job postings, interview coordination, and onboardingCoordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a seamless employee experienceComplete and manage I-9 verification, compliance tracking, and documentationMaintain and update HR policies, handbooks, and internal communicationsMaintain accurate employee records within HRIS and other systemsAssist with benefits administration and respond to employee inquiriesGenerate and analyze HR reports and metrics to support workforce planning and complianceSupport payroll processes by validating employee data and coordinating with payrollCreate and deliver internal communications including job postings, announcements, and updatesMaintain HR SharePoint content and internal communication platformsCoordinate training sessions, engagement initiatives, and HR-related eventsAssist with performance management processes and documentation trackingSupport employee engagement programs, including recognition initiativesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and company employment laws and policiesServe as a trusted point of contact for employee questions and HR supportQualifications:Associate's degree required (Human Resources or related field preferred)1–3 years of office experience required; HR experience strongly preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and MS FormsExperience with SAP SuccessFactors highly preferredStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentiallyAbility to travel between Winston-Salem and Mocksville locations as neededPhysical Requirements:Ability to perform light office duties, including extended sitting or standingOccasional bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbsGood manual dexterity for computer-based workWhy Join Us?Be part of a collaborative and supportive HR teamGain exposure to a wide variety of HR functions and initiativesOpportunity to work with modern HR systems and toolsContribute to meaningful employee engagement and organizational successThe Details:Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays from day one, tuition reimbursement, and a 401k plan (with an automatic 3% company contribution, regardless of your contribution) among others.
