Position Summary Seeking Full‑Time Certified English Teacher for 2026-2027. Teach ELA grades 4‑8 or a certificate in English 6‑12 by working in our residential treatment setting serving youth ages 10‑21. Start Salary: $59,149 per year plus additional compensation for higher certification levels. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00‑5:00 p.m. with a modified district calendar—additional days during Fall, Winter, and 15 days during May/June for summer enrichment. Employees may be expected to report during inclement weather for safety. Responsibilities Plan and deliver individualized curriculum to support academic success with a low teacher‑to‑student ratio. Maintain classroom environment, physical, emotional well‑being, and safety of all students. Collaborate with educational professionals and direct support staff to integrate unique programs such as art therapy, animal care therapy, yoga, drama, and life‑skills. Adhere to the school’s modified district calendar and participate in required training. Qualifications Must be 21+. Valid driver's license. Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred. Georgia teaching certification (Social Studies 6‑12, Special Education Teaching Certification SPED preferred). Two years teaching experience preferred. Requirements Initial new hire paid training: 2 weeks, Monday‑Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. in Kennesaw, GA. Post‑training placement: Lawrenceville, Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Thorough background check required. Drug‑free workplace; drug screening required.
