Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Gastroenterology in Lakewood, CO

Doctor of Medicine | Gastroenterology Location: Lakewood, CO Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities Provide inpatient Gastroenterology consultation services for adult and geriatric patients, as well as trauma patients ages 15 and older (minimum 50kg). Perform high-acuity procedures including scoping, ERCP, EUS, endoscopy, and management of GI bleeds. Conduct evaluations for a variety of complex GI problems. Manage a daily volume of approximately 8-10 new patient admissions and follow-ups, along with 5-8 scopes per day. Utilize Epic EMR for all clinical documentation and orders. Qualifications & Credentialing Board Certification: Board Certified in Gastroenterology is required. Fellowship: Must have completed a Gastroenterology Fellowship. Licensure: An active Colorado medical license or IMLC (with LOQ in hand at the time of submission) is required. DEA: An active DEA is required. For credentialing, a transferred DEA is acceptable but must be maintained for the entire duration of the assignment. Specialized Skills: Proficiency in both ERCP and EUS is mandatory and must be noted in the presentation. Compliance Documents: A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of submission is required at the time of presentation. Candidates with a clean malpractice history and background are highly preferred. Availability & Local Preferences: Priority will be given to local or drive-in candidates. Providers must be available for all specified dates and must disclose the number of monthly shifts they can offer ongoing. Requirements: Candidates must acknowledge their understanding of the strict EMR training sequence and the requirement to stay at preferred lodging locations. What We Offer On-Call Daily Rate (24 hours): $5,200 - $5,600 (includes 8 hours gratis). Holiday Call Rate: $7,800 - $8,400 (includes 8 hours gratis). Call Back Rate: $525 - $550 per hour of patient contact after gratis hours. Holiday Call Back Rate: $787.50 - $825 per hour of patient contact after gratis hours. Orientation/Training Rate: $262.50 - $275 per hour for training beyond 8 hours. Malpractice insurance included in hourly rates.
