Strong candidates will have management-side experience handling wage and hour class actions, state and federal litigation, administrative matters, and alternative dispute resolution. Job Description Represent management-side clients in a broad range of employment and labor disputes. Handle employment litigation matters in Washington state and federal courts from case assessment through resolution. Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, and take and defend depositions. Represent clients before administrative agencies, including the EEOC and Washington Human Rights Commission. Handle wage and hour class actions and other complex employment litigation. Advise clients regarding wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, ADA, FMLA, non-compete, trade secret, and related employment matters. Conduct workplace investigations involving issues such as harassment, discrimination, ethics violations, and other sensitive workplace concerns. Provide practical employment counseling involving employment agreements, severance packages, workplace policies, and compliance. Conduct sophisticated legal research and prepare persuasive briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents. Collaborate closely with attorneys and clients to develop efficient, practical strategies for resolving employment disputes. Qualifications Washington State bar license required. 4+ years of employment litigation experience required. Management-side employment law experience strongly preferred. Experience with state and federal court proceedings, administrative agency matters, and alternative dispute resolution. Strong legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and communication skills. Ability to manage litigation matters independently while collaborating effectively with a team. Excellent judgment, dependability, emotional intelligence, and empathy. Experience with wage and hour class actions is highly valued. Existing client relationships or a portable book of business is welcome but not required.
