Tax Manager - Los Angeles, CA

A leading global media and entertainment company is seeking a Tax Manager to join its tax compliance team supporting sports and entertainment operations. The organization produces and distributes premier news, sports, and entertainment content across a portfolio of highly recognized media brands, delivering culturally impactful programming and innovative consumer experiences. This role will focus on domestic tax compliance and tax accounting matters, including the review of corporate and partnership federal, state, and local income tax returns, quarterly estimated payments, extensions, and ASC 740 tax provisions. The Tax Manager will partner closely with finance and accounting teams to analyze financial information, support tax filings and forecasts, assist with audits and planning initiatives, and respond to tax notices and authority inquiries. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in domestic corporate and partnership taxation, tax accounting concepts, and tax research, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. This position also includes oversight of team members and consultants on various tax projects. Qualifications 7+ years of domestic income tax compliance experience Strong knowledge of corporate and partnership taxation and ASC 740 Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, and logical formulas Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment Preferred Qualifications Accounting major, MBA, and/or CPA Public accounting experience with a nationally recognized firm Experience with Corptax, Alteryx, and Workday #J-18808-Ljbffr Atlas Search
