Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. Key Responsibilities Obtain correct patient identification, prepare patients, and ensure proper documentation while maintaining confidentiality. Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to safety principles like ALARA. Prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed, ensuring compliance with laws and policies. Evaluate image quality, verify data transfer, and perform post-processing when needed. Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist with interventional procedures. Select pulse sequences based on protocols and data acquisition considerations. Demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties and participate in quality improvement activities. Qualifications & Skills Certification by ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR credential. Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor's degree preferred. Knowledge of MRI safety, technical procedures, and patient care. #J-18808-Ljbffr Vetted Solutions
