25-30.00hr. DOE
The A/P Specialist is responsible for the
- Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
- Preparing bills, invoices and bank deposits
- Preparing invoices to be sent to customers via preferred methods
- Communicate with management on problem accounts
- Work with sales leadership to facilitate the resolution of payment concerns
- Maintain customer information
- Apply payments to accounts
- Initiate collections on delinquent accounts
- Other accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN NORTHWEST HOUSTON - TOMBALL
Understanding of general accounting mathematics.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Education / Experience:
- A high school diploma is required
- A/P experience is required
- QuickBooks experience is required - THIS IS A MUST
