From the atelier in Stockholm, we create women's and men's collections spanning ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, accessories, and jewelry.The RoleTOTEME is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our Madison Avenue Flagship store in New York on a full-time basis. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in leading the team, driving sales, and delivering an elevated client experience. As a brand ambassador, you will help cultivate a welcoming and inspiring in-store environment while building lasting client relationships. You will report directly to the Store Manager.ResponsibilitiesManage store operations, ensure efficient workflows, and staff scheduling.Drive sales performance and monitor progress to consistently meet or exceed targets.Provide daily coaching and support to Sales Advisors, ensuring high team performance and consistent service excellence.Guide the team on brand knowledge, collections, store experience, and operational procedures.Support the planning and execution of in-store events and activations in collaboration with the Store Manager.Lead by example in developing strong client relationships and fostering a culture of genuine clienteling.Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and coach the team on day-to-day execution.Conduct regular team briefings to align on business priorities, company policies, and new collections.Share product insights and qualitative feedback with internal teams, based on client needs and local trends.Participate in and contribute to TOTEME's social and environmental sustainability strategy.Your ProfileMinimum of three years of experience in a senior retail role, preferably within the luxury fashion sector.Experience in leading and coaching a high-performing team.Solid understanding of store workflows, budgeting, and performance analysis.Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.About YouA dedicated TOTEME ambassador who embodies our culture and values.Genuinely curious about people and motivated to understand our client base.Passionate about delivering a luxury experience and exceeding client expectations.Highly organized with a hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving.Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.This is a full-time position based at TOTEME's flagship store on Madison Avenue starting as soon as possible. The annual salary for this role ranges between 80,000 and 90,000 USD before tax and will be set according to the applicant's profile, skills, and previous experience.TOTEME has teams in Stockholm, London, New York, and Shanghai, as well as retail spaces across Europe, North America, and Asia.
