Job Title: Product Photographer
Location: Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY
Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time (Contract)
Schedule: M-F 9am-5pm and some Saturdays 8am-2pm
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, creative, and proactive Product Photographer to join our team at our Online Auction company. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about visual storytelling, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to grow and learn. You’ll be responsible for capturing high-quality images of our products using an Ipad, editing them for use across digital platforms, and collaborating closely with our creative and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture clear, appealing, and consistent product photos using an Ipad
- Edit and enhance images for use on websites, social media, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute product shoots.
- Maintain an organized system for storing and sharing photos.
- Take initiative to propose new creative ideas or improvements to the visual process.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects.
- Learn and adapt to new tools, techniques, or brand guidelines as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to take high-quality photos using a smartphone or Ipad.
- Experience with mobile photo editing apps (e.g., Lightroom Mobile, PhotoRoom, Snapseed, VSCO, etc.).
- Creative eye for detail, composition, lighting, and styling.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability—shows up on time and ready to work.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and communicates proactively.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to shooting locations.
- Needs to be able to pick up 50lbs minimum
- Background Check
Preferred but Not Required:
- Previous experience in product photography or content creation.
- Familiarity with social media trends and visual marketing.
- Online Auction product photography experience is a plus!
