About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President of Institutional Sales to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating and developing new institutional relationships, with a focus on endowments, foundations, and healthcare markets. This role involves identifying and cultivating prospects, managing the sales and consultant search process, and working with various internal teams to convert opportunities into long-term client relationships. The AVP will also have the opportunity to mentor junior sales professionals as the team expands. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years' experience in institutional sales, business development, relationship management, investment consulting, asset management, or a related financial services industry. A strong background in prospecting and sourcing new institutional client opportunities is essential, with at least 3 years' of experience in this area. The role requires proficiency in CRM and sales enablement platforms, as well as excellent communication, influencing, and collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building professional relationships that lead to measurable business development outcomes and the ability to mentor junior team members in sales best practices.
