Community Programs Intern — Admin & Outreach

Job Title: Bachelor’s Intern (unpaid) Job Overview The Bachelor’s intern will support daily program operations by assisting with administrative tasks, data entry, participant records, program materials, and general office functions to help ensure efficient service delivery. Assist with community outreach, workshops, events, and resource distribution while providing support to staff and program participants. As an integrated health organization, Acenda values the use of evidence-based practice (EBP). Key Responsibilities Assist staff with daily program operations and administrative tasks. Support community outreach efforts. Help with data entry, filing, answering phones, and preparing program materials. Maintain participant records and support event planning and setup. Distribute resources and assist with workshops and community events. Provide general office support to ensure programs and services run efficiently. Requirements Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Reliable, professional, and punctual. Interest in community services, social work, human services, education, public health, or a related field. Ability to assist with events, outreach activities, and general administrative tasks. Must be able to pass any required background checks and complete onboarding requirements.
