Duties

• Assist with food preparation, cooking (no frying), and plating to ensure food meet quality and safety standards
• Follow food handling and sanitation procedures diligently to uphold food safety regulations
• Help with cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, used dishes, and food prep areas to maintain a hygienic environment
• Aid in food safety and preparation tasks such as portioning, labeling, and organizing food items for efficient service
• Contribute to inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and supplies organization
• Support other processes as assigned by Management

Requirements

• Prior experience in food production, food service, or culinary settings preferred, but not required; experience in a wine bar environment is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards for maintaining health regulations preferred
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting
• Strong attention to detail for high-quality food output
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude
• ServSafe Certified preferred
• Excellent customer service skills to interact courteously with guests and staff
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform cleaning duties safely
• Friday and Saturday shifts required, other days flexible
