Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Premier Corporate Office Tower , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access activity and assist with visitor management in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for occupants and guests.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly notify appropriate personnel.
- Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have customer service experience, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
