Insurance Claims Management

Performs various tasks within the insurance team including the monitoring of insurance claims within our portfolio of loans to assure compliance with loan document and/or lender requirements; as well as meeting investor and borrower servicing expectations.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 80-100 property insurance claims from beginning to completion.
• Receive and handle incoming claim funds for deposit
• Review of loan agreements, third-party reports, and other various loan documents.
• Review all claim documents such as statement of loss, repair contracts, adjuster reports, fire reports, etc..
• Develop and maintain strong relationships by working with borrowers, adjusters, insurance agents, master servicers, lenders/investors and other interested parties.
• Utilize and work with vendors as needed.
• Disburse borrower draw requests by thorough review of invoices and lien waivers in accordance with lender guidelines
• Assist with the Newmark Disaster Recovery Reporting Process
• Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned by management.
• Initiates and participates in projects, system enhancement design and testing; documents procedures
• This position will be within the Lower Gwynedd, PA office on a hybrid work schedule.
