Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Your expertise will support co-taught classrooms for grades 3–4 at a primary school, and grades 7–8 at a middle school, with manageable caseloads of fewer than 10 students per assignment. These focused groups allow for individualized attention and the development of strong connections with students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Proven classroom experience with co-teaching or inclusion models
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt to diverse learning needs
• Enthusiasm for student growth and advocacy

Responsibilities:

• Co-teach in inclusive classrooms, ensuring all students have access to high-quality instruction
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with other professionals
• Support academic and behavioral interventions based on student needs
• Engage in collaborative planning with general education teachers and related service staff
• Maintain accurate records, monitor student progress, and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Foster positive, inclusive classroom environments that celebrate each learner’s strengths
