Lead Post-Silicon Validation Engineer – GPU Engineering Team The NVIDIA GPU Engineering Team is looking for a Lead Post‑Silicon Validation Engineer to drive the development of future GPUs for 3D graphics, deep learning, HPC, and automotive markets. Responsibilities Manage and help lead post‑silicon bringup, characterization, and productization of the GPU memory system. Develop, qualify, and work on compliance of memory system software and firmware. Serve as the primary contact for internal and external customers and DRAM vendors regarding silicon issues related to memory. Participate in the GPU development cycle from concept, Plan of Record, architecture, micro‑architecture, design, and validation to physical design and tape‑out. Collaborate with design and verification teams in the pre‑silicon phase to define features required for smooth bring‑up and productization. Lead the post‑silicon phase, taking the GPU from initial power‑on through production. Analyze and resolve top‑N issues across diverse data sets and make informed decisions. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 12+ years of proven experience, with at least three years working with memory systems in a lab setting. Direct experience taking an SOC/GPU from concept level to production. Hands‑on experience with DRAM and high‑speed interfaces such as HBM, GDDR, LPDDR, and their timing, analog, and digital requirements. Strong written, verbal, and technical communication skills. Desirable: experience debugging post‑silicon issues with DRAM vendors and driving solutions; proven record of implementing processes and methodologies; SystemC or C++ development skills or relevant programming experience. Benefits Competitive salary and equity package. Base salary range for Level5: $200,000 – $322,000. Base salary range for Level6: $240,000 – $379,500.
