Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid: In office Tuesday–Thursday) Compensation: $140,000–$160,000 base + annual bonus Schedule: Full-time, hybrid work structure What’s in it for you? Strategic Influence: Partner with senior leadership to enhance financial processes, reporting accuracy, and long-term financial strategy. Balanced Flexibility: Enjoy a hybrid schedule with in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday and remote work options on Monday and Friday. What will your day look like? Financial Oversight: Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, job cost accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting. Project & Property Reporting: Oversee job cost tracking, WIP schedules, property-level reporting, capitalization, and project financial analysis. Internal Controls: Strengthen policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance across the organization. Budgeting & Forecasting: Support leadership by preparing budgets, cash flow projections, and variance analyses. Process & Systems Improvement: Evaluate and enhance financial systems and workflows to support growth and operational efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, development, and project management teams to align financial insights with business objectives. Who are you? Experienced Accounting Leader: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred. Industry Background: 7+ years of progressive accounting experience within construction, real estate, or a related project-based environment. Strong Technical Skills: Skilled in job costing, project accounting, and financial statement preparation. Leadership Mindset: Proven ability to mentor teams, collaborate across departments, and drive continuous improvement. Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Capable of delivering accurate financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
