Workday Developer - Payroll

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking an ERP Developer - Workday to join their dynamic team. As an ERP Developer - Workday, you will be an integral part of the HR and Payroll support team, contributing to the development and maintenance of critical payroll functionalities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, collaboration, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: ERP Developer - Workday Location: Chicago, IL What's the Job? Configure, develop, test, and maintain Workday Payroll functionality, integrations, reports, and business processes based on organizational requirements. Troubleshoot payroll system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement reliable solutions while supporting data accuracy and payroll operations. Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, document solutions, and deliver Workday enhancements. Support ongoing system testing, updates, and production support to ensure seamless payroll operations. Maintain compliance with organizational policies and industry standards related to payroll processing and data security. What's Needed? Workday Payroll certification. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience developing, configuring, or supporting Workday Payroll solutions. Demonstrated knowledge of Workday Payroll business processes, integrations, reporting, testing, and production support. Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
