Make a real impact supporting elementary students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist during a leave coverage assignment. This contract opportunity begins January 4th and is expected to continue through the end of March, with the possibility of extension based on school needs. Step into a welcoming school environment near Riverside, CA, where you’ll serve a caseload of approximately 55 students with a blend of speech-only and resource needs, all at a single, well-organized site.

Professional Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Valid California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience in a school-based SLP role strongly preferred
• Ability to independently manage a varied caseload of elementary students
• Proficiency creating individualized treatment plans and collaborating with educators and families
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech/language and communication assessments for assigned students
• Develop and implement IEP goals and targeted intervention strategies
• Provide direct therapy sessions to address students’ communication needs
• Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation for all services and Medicaid billing as required
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as assigned

This position offers a consistent weekly schedule, with workdays from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, totaling 35 hours per week. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated onsite team and be supported by experienced leadership throughout your assignment.
