• Provide education and resources for patients and families to facilitate ongoing progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing inpatient speech therapy services when necessary, guaranteeing continuous care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Keep precise and prompt documentation in accordance with relevant state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Education Requirements

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have yet to achieve ASHA certification.

Licensures and Certifications

• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Mandatory: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first month of employment.
