Create tailored treatment plans focusing on immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.

Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that emphasize language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.

Engage in collaborative care with interdisciplinary professionals such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members.

Provide education to patients and their families to encourage progress in everyday life outside of clinical settings.

Assist with inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatments as necessary, ensuring seamless care along the entire journey.

Document all procedures accurately and in a timely manner following state, federal, and organizational standards.

Commit to ongoing professional development through continued education and peer collaboration.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.

Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic approaches for all age demographics, with a comprehensive understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Outstanding interpersonal communication skills with patients, their families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Ability to tailor therapy approaches to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
