The organization values accuracy, accountability, and collaboration in all business functions. Role Description This is a part to full time, on-site Bookkeeper role based in Knoxville, TN. The Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial records, including recording and reconciling transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing basic financial reports. Responsibilities include processing journal entries, supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing tasks. The role requires experience with Quickbooks Enterprise programs. Priorities include data accuracy, and adhering to company policies and applicable accounting standards. The Bookkeeper will collaborate with management to provide financial information that supports decision-making and operational planning. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong bookkeeping and finance skills, including experience managing daily financial records and supporting routine accounting processes. Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with basic accounting principles. Candidates should possess proficiency with Quickbooks Enterprise software and related digital tools to record transactions, generate reports, and maintain organized financial data. Candidates should possess experience with accounting journal entries, including posting, verifying, and reconciling entries in the general ledger. Additional qualifications: attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, ability to meet deadlines, and clear written and verbal communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.
