CreditSights is currently seeking an Analyst, Insurance based out of our Denver office. The candidate will be responsible for all tasks related to issuer and sector coverage, including building and maintaining financial models, monitoring multiple news sources for relevant stories and information, maintaining databases, interpreting and analyzing financial statements, contributing to fundamental analysis, writing research reports (earnings notes, news flow, credit events, and thematic research), and attending and participating in meetings with clients and bond issuers.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Contribute to fundamental analysis and the writing of research reports
• Build and update financial and industry models
• Interpret and analyze financial statements for credit analysis
• Monitor and interpret bond and other capital market movements
• Prepare presentation materials for clients/Attend client meetings
• Attend issuer and industry events (e.g. Investor Days)

You May be a Good Fit if:

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Some knowledge of accounting and experience analyzing companies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, with a methodical approach to work and excellent attention to detail

• Experience analyzing credit
• Degrees in STEM, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business
• Proficiency in Bloomberg and FactSet
