We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Evening Shift Line Cook to join our culinary team. As an Evening Shift Line Cook at Blue Palms Health and Rehabilitation Center at Fletcher, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our patients and staff. Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including entrees, sides, and desserts, in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities with ease
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service and efficient operations
Maintain accurate inventory and track food costs to minimize waste and optimize resources
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
Ideal Candidate:
1+ year of experience as a line cook or equivalent position in a healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
Strong communication and customer service skills
Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special meal requirements (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.)
