Parking Attendant

Position Overview Parking Lot Attendant at LAZ Parking provides customer service, manages parking revenue, ensures a clean and safe environment, and operates parking equipment. Responsibilities Greet customers, provide assistance, and maintain rapport. Complete paperwork and reports for parking revenue accurately. Assist customers in lobbies, lanes, and office; direct traffic. Promote customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor. Accept payments and process credit cards. Keep location clean: sweeping, wiping surfaces, emptying trash, changing bulbs. Maintain and repair parking equipment to ensure access. Wear LAZ Parking uniform, arrive on time, and be ready to work. Work independently or under supervision and follow directions. Inform loitering individuals to move off property or contact police. Attend to safety hazards and maintain a safe environment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Experience Strong customer service skills. Ability to mitigate challenges and lead others. Independent and multitask. Professional communication with all levels. Interpret policies and procedures. Sense of urgency and timeliness. Skills Flexibility to work multiple locations. Handle challenging and emotionally charged situations. Speak, read, and comprehend English. Make independent decisions. Physical Demands Standing and walking for long periods (95–100% of the time). Lifting and moving parking equipment. Sweeping and changing signage as needed. No sitting unless on break and off property.
