Manager, Legal Finance & Strategy

Job Overview The Legal Finance & Strategy team works closely with the Business Affairs and Labor teams to support key strategic initiatives and negotiations, by providing in-depth analyses coupled with internal and external insights. The Manager will be an integral part of the team, leading support and analysis across US projects with visibility to work with the wider Finance & Strategy team and relevant international projects. This role resides in Netflix’s Hollywood offices. Responsibilities Lead the strategy, analysis and negotiation support for Content Business Affairs. Develop strategic frameworks to guide decision‑making on key Legal and Labor initiatives. Partner and influence key stakeholders across the company to align on local and global strategic and operational initiatives. Conduct ad hoc analysis to support deal negotiations. Create insightful presentations to summarize the analytical work that supports the decisions of Business Affairs and Labor leadership. Develop a deep understanding of Netflix and the broader market trends to feed internal discussions. Qualifications Highly analytical with strong financial modeling skills, comfortable building models for senior leadership decision‑making. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt to various stakeholders’ and cross‑functional partners’ styles. Proven track record thriving in a fast‑paced environment, resourceful, solution‑driven, with personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics. 6+ years of experience at an investment bank, management consulting firm, private equity, hedge fund, and/or internal strategy. Prior experience in Media/Entertainment is preferred; prior experience in Deal Analysis is a plus. Strong Excel / modeling skills, interest or fluency in other productivity tools and technology is a plus.
