Schedule Details:: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is a seasonal position, typically running from June through November, with a schedule of up to 40 hours per week.


Description
As a Building and Grounds Maintenance Worker in our Public Works department, you will support the daily operations of water treatment facilities by performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks . Working under the guidance of the Water Facility Supervisor, you will assist certified operators in keeping our facilities clean, safe, and in good repair.


This is a seasonal position, typically running from May through November, with a schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

Essential Job Duties

What You'll Do in This Role:

• Maintain grounds using equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, and skid steers
• Support irrigation systems by helping maintain, test, and repair components
• Assist with landscaping tasks, including applying fertilizers and managing weeds
• Perform general facility upkeep such as painting, cleaning, and minor repairs
• Help with basic plumbing, carpentry, and equipment maintenance as needed
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment between sites
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to keep projects on track

Minimum Qualifications

You Have:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Six months of experience in maintenance, landscaping, or a related field
• A valid state driver's license
