Overview Registered Nurse (RN) role at Acadiana Management Group (AMG) Specialty Hospital – Albuquerque. Responsibilities Communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Care for patients with conditions such as respiratory failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula; may require sedation/pain management, pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. Manage complex infections requiring long-term IV antibiotics; chronic non-healing wounds with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes. Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting. Shift & Benefits Shift differentials paid for all Night and Weekend Shifts. Current Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of New Mexico. Acute care experience is preferred. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
