Site Reliability Engineer

Site Reliability / Platform Engineer -- St. Louis, MO Our Fortune 1000 Financial Services client is looking for a dynamic SRE / Platform Engineer to join their team in St. Louis. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for engineers passionate about building and supporting large-scale, highly available, cloud-based platforms in a modern DevSecOps environment. This team is focused on driving operational excellence through automation, infrastructure as code, proactive monitoring, and resilient system design. The ideal candidate will bring a strong engineering mindset, thrive in collaborative environments, and enjoy solving complex operational and reliability challenges. Key Responsibilities: Build, support, and improve large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems Partner with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance Develop automation tools, scripts, and auto-remediation solutions Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability best practices Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform Support CI/CD pipelines and modern DevSecOps practices Participate in incident response and problem management in a 24/7 operational environment Required Qualifications: 2–5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Systems Administration, or Software Engineering Experience working within public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Experience with Linux/Windows administration, automation, containers, and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef, Terraform, etc.) Familiarity with monitoring, uptime management, and troubleshooting distributed systems Understanding of CI/CD tooling and infrastructure automation Preferred Qualifications: Cloud certifications strongly preferred Strong troubleshooting and systems-thinking mindset Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience in highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments Disclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
