Customer Relations Assistant : Rock Falls, Illinois

Our customer in Rock Falls, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting a Customer Relations Assistant to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Customer Relations Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting clients and the account management team by providing exceptional customer service, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities of the Customer Relations Assistant :

Client Communication & Support

• Answer incoming calls and assist clients with service requests.
• Provide outstanding customer service through phone and email communication.
• Promote referral programs and online reviews.
• Escalate complex issues to Account Managers or licensed agents as needed.

Documentation & Data Management

• Process daily downloads and maintain records in the agency management system.
• Manage the general email inbox and route communications appropriately.
• Document client interactions and maintain accurate contact information.

Administrative Support

• Perform daily document management tasks, including printing, scanning, and faxing.
• Assist with audits and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Support administrative and operational team needs.

Client Service & Account Support

• Process certificates, Auto ID cards, and other policy-related requests.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and claims support.
• Provide timely assistance with routine account servicing needs.

Billing & Payment Assistance

• Process client payments and answer basic billing questions.
• Promote convenient payment options.
• Assist with past-due payment follow-up procedures.

Team Collaboration

• Support Account Managers with policy changes and service requests.
• Follow up on renewals and quotes with carriers.
• Assist with tasks that improve team efficiency and client service.

Customer Relations Assistant Qualifications :

• Previous customer service, administrative, receptionist, or insurance office experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computers, email, and office software.
• Ability to learn agency management systems and procedures.
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team success.

Pay for Customer Relations Assistant : $17-$19/hour.
