Business Development Coordinator

As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an organized, energetic, and people-oriented Business Development Coordinator to support our sales team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys talking with people, thrives in a fast-paced office environment, and takes pride in keeping projects organized and moving forward. Every day is different—you'll be communicating with prospective customers, coordinating schedules, and helping ensure our sales process runs smoothly. SmartMarket Solutions receives inquiries from prospective business owners through both our website and broker network. In this role, you will contact interested candidates, conduct initial screening calls, and schedule qualified prospects with the appropriate Business Advisor. You will play a key role in ensuring every prospective customer receives a prompt, professional, and seamless introduction to our sales process. Responsibilities What You'll Do Input and manage new consultant candidate information from brokers and website information requests Contact prospective customers by phone, email, and text to screen candidates and/or schedule appointments with our Business Advisors Monitor and follow up on leads to help keep our sales process moving efficiently Maintain prospect information in our CRM system Help create a positive first impression for every prospective customer Provide general administrative support Qualifications What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Friendly, confident, and professional on the phone Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable learning new software and technology Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook Experienced with CRM software (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot or similar is a plus) Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Previous experience in administrative support, customer service or inside sales support is preferred.
