Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about working in school settings, you'll partner with a supportive multidisciplinary team in a dynamic environment near Schaumburg, IL. Provide essential speech and language services to students during the ESY session running from June 1st to June 25th, Monday through Thursday, with convenient daytime hours from 7:45 am to 12:15 pm.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in evidence-based pediatric speech-language therapy and understand the unique needs of school-age children. Your efforts will help students maintain communication progress over the summer, ensuring they start the new school year strong.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure and SLP-CCC certification required
• School-based experience supporting pediatric populations preferred
• Strong collaboration skills with teachers and related service professionals
• Ability to adapt therapy methods for diverse student needs and IEP requirements
• Effective communicator with staff, families, and administration

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions in accordance with student IEP goals
• Evaluate and document student progress; adjust intervention strategies as needed
• Participate in team meetings, contributing to goal planning and progress discussions
• Provide consultative support to educators and families for generalization of skills
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with all local and federal guidelines
