Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianPrime Windows Systems, is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to support our high-volume manufacturing operations in Streetsboro, Ohio. This is an on-site, full-time position.Pay Range: $30.00 - $33.00 per hourThis role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime, safety, and operational efficiency. Join a team that takes pride in a clean, organized, and safety-driven facility—where tools, equipment, and workspaces are maintained to high standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on manufacturing equipment.Trouble-shoot PC/PLC controlled equipment, sensors, drives, and automated systems.Utilize schematics and technical documentation to identify root causes of failures.Respond quickly to production downtime to minimize operational disruptions.Communicate with OEM technical support to speed up equipment repair.Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment including welders, cutting systems, conveyors, and automated assembly equipment.Identify early signs of equipment wear and proactively address potential failures.Develop PM procedures and schedules for critical machinery.Maintain detailed maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement.Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.Ensure equipment repairs meet safety and operational standards.Support lockout/tagout procedures and safe maintenance practices.Partner with production supervisors, engineers, and leadership to resolve equipment challenges.Contribute ideas that enhance safety, reliability, and operational excellence.Qualifications5+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or in field set-up and/or service of computer-controlled equipment.Strong knowledge of: Computer/PLC troubleshooting, Industrial electronic systems, Pneumatic systems, Mechanical systems and machine repair.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagramsExperience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipmentExcellent diagnostic and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently as well as with a team within a fast-paced production environmentStrong commitment to workplace safetyAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Cornerstone Building Brands makes windows that provide builders, architects, and homeowners with energy efficient, low maintenance solutions that add beauty and charm to any home, and this is why great building solutions start with you!
