Psychiatry Open Track/Rank Faculty - Addiction Program

Job Title: Psychiatry Open Track/Rank Faculty – Addiction Program Department: Medicine | Psychiatry Key Responsibilities: Advance an externally funded program of research in substance use disorders. Publish research in high‑quality peer‑reviewed scientific journals. Mentor trainees across all academic levels. Participate in division, department, college, and university committees and initiatives. Contribute to the development, leadership, or substantial input to research, education, and clinical programs. Qualifications: Advanced degree (M.D. or Ph.D.) with specialization in Psychiatry or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program. Specialized training pathways aligned with Ohio licensure and clinical practice. Strong record of external research funding or high potential for extramural funding. Experience in developing, leading, or substantially contributing to research, education, and clinical programs. Expertise in randomized clinical trial designs, overdose risk, and treatment recovery is encouraged. Ph.D. candidates in related fields may be considered if they demonstrate commitment to training clinical professionals and supporting clinical care.
