Coffee Shop Manager (Fast Times - La Jolla) Buck Mason Responsibilities Be the leader everyone looks up to, setting the bar high for performance Run shifts effectively, ensuring the team is properly staffed, delivering top‑notch hospitality, and following Buck Mason's drink and food service guidelines Train new hires and keep veteran staff up to date with the latest offerings Maintain operational safety and ensure all procedures are followed Provide timely feedback on performance and opportunities for improvement Keep coffee knowledge sharp through tastings, cuppings, and training sessions Prepare drinks and food items to meet high‑quality standards Enforce safety policies and ensure a safe environment for staff and customers Qualifications At least one year of experience leading a team Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire Strong math and computer skills Willingness and ability to work a variable schedule that may include early mornings, mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays Compensation $65,000–$75,000 per year, with an annual bonus of no less than 1% of the store's net profit in addition to applicable bonuses.
