Senior Application Developer/Engineer/Programmer

Onsite 4 times per month in DC IF LOCAL - open to fully remote candidate but MUST be in the US. Funded now through 12/31 but fully expect this to go 2-3 years. No more than 3 page resumes. Interview: Selected candidates will participate in a phone screening. Those that pass the phone screening may be invited to an in-person interview. The use of video conference tools (e.g., MS Teams or WebEx) can be used in accordance with agency guidelines.

Top skills - MUST have a degree and 10+ years overall IT experience to qualify for this labor cat - prefer Workday-certified candidates but not required. The ability to configure, implement, test, and document solutions in Workday. Possess extensive experience with developing integrations and reports, including BIRT reports. Thorough knowledge of security for integrations and reports. Possess experience with developing calculated fields. Knowledge of and experience with Workday HCM and Payroll business processes. Knowledge of Orchestrate integrations is preferred.

BACKGROUND: One of the primary responsibilities of the Technology Services (TS) ERP Cloud Solution Delivery team is to maintain and support a highly visible cloud system, Workday. We are seeking one techno-functional resource to augment the team. The Contractor will provide support which includes troubleshooting Production issues, developing Workday integrations and reports, performing end-to-end testing of said integrations, reports and/or business processes. The Contractor would support the Production Workday environment, and the development of new solutions and enhancements.

REQUIREMENTS: The candidate shall possess the knowledge and skills set forth in the Technical Services Client, Section 3.14.1 for labor category Senior Application Developer/Engineer/Programmer. The candidate shall also demonstrate the below knowledge and experience: The ability to configure, implement, test, and document solutions in Workday. Possess extensive experience with developing integrations and reports, including BIRT reports. Thorough knowledge of security for integrations and reports. Possess experience with developing calculated fields. Knowledge of and experience with Workday HCM and Payroll business processes. Knowledge of Orchestrate integrations is preferred. Strong work ethic. Excellent communication and organizational skills. The Contractor shall deliver, but not limited to, the following: Design and test assigned integrations and reports. Document project deliverables such as requirements specifications, design and test results. Prepare and deliver documents required for peer review. Monitor integration issues in Production and work with business users and scrum team on issue resolution.
