Hourly Rate: $11.35 plus tips

THE ROLE

As a Bartender at Shaver Hall, you’ll do more than just mix drinks—you’ll shape the guest experience. From crafting signature cocktails to creating warm, genuine connections, our bartenders are approachable, knowledgeable, and passionate about hospitality. You’ll bring artistry to the bar while ensuring every guest leaves feeling like they’ve been part of something special.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Welcome guests with professionalism, energy, and authenticity.

• Build and serve cocktails with precision, consistency, and creativity.

• Share your knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and our beverage program to enhance the guest experience.

• Assemble, break down, and maintain the bar to ensure a clean and efficient operation.

• Provide accurate and efficient payment processing.

• Collaborate with fellow bartenders and servers to deliver seamless service.

• Maintain proper sanitation and adhere to all state and city regulations.

• Support the next shift by completing opening, closing, and side work duties

• Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.

• Continue to grow through ongoing training and development opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of two (2) years of bartending experience; craft cocktail knowledge strongly preferred.

• A true people person—energetic, approachable, and invested in guest satisfaction.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 lbs.

• Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcohol in New York.
